The not-so-final mix for this tune was necessitated by the engineer's abrupt and unexpected withdrawal from the project. Left to my own devices, I highlighted the lush Gretsch tones, and the organ, rarely at the cost of lyrical clarity, and worth the sacrifice. As luck would have it, this mix would be superior to any sanitized, homgeneous  version produced by the engineer, and the final result, now on digital distribution, has been extremely satisfying. I await the readiness of another studio, when I will record a second multi-track version, completed by a top professional, from the bottom up...........
