I randomly draw imagery from my surroundings, to gradually piece together lyrics and a melody. In my efforts to make a coherent tune, I generally follow a similar pattern, of an intro, 1 or 2 verses, a middle instrumental or chorus, and 1 or 2 final verses, leading often to an intense, gradually fading, chant-like ending. If there be any other conscious elements to my music, there are attempts to describe and convey shifting emotional experiences, that flow and intermingle, while telling a story of metaphors, the meanings of which lie deep within the rhythm and resonance of the song, whereby the lyrics remain more of an element or ornament.
